Subject:- Corrections in Revised Answer Key - TGT – 01/2013 English(declared on 21/05/2015) Exam held on 25th January, 2015 (As Per Test Paper Series – D; Subject Code – TG - 04)
Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I’m just shocked to see how the things can go wrong after revision and re-revision. Please notice that the following (Six) Answers need to be viewed, reviewed and corrected. I sent you 10 incorrect answers list on 1st Feb. 2015 including the following six answers.   
Q. No. 13 :- Find out the mistake in the sentence given below.
She has told me/ that she saw my Uncle/ at the fare/ on last Friday.
Your Key/ Answer: - (D) – on Last Friday.
Correct Answers: - (C) at the fare – at the fair (D) on last Friday – last Friday
Note:- Both C & D options are correct. Hence there should General Marking.
Q.No. 15:- Choose the name of the Roman General who conquered England in 43 B.C.?
(A) Julius Caesar (B) Claudius (C ) Antony (D) None of these

Your Key/ Answer:- (B) Claudius                Revised Key: D
Correct Answer: - Your question is wrong. England was conquered by Emperor Claudius in 43 AD. (Hence D cannot be taken as Correct. There should be general marking)

Reference:- The Roman conquest of Britain was a gradual process, beginning effectively in AD 43 under Emperor Claudius, whose general Aulus lautius served as  first governor of Roman Britain.

Q.No. 36:- What could be the ‘Tragic-Flaw’ in Hamlet?
(A)   Noble          (B) Oedipus Complex            (C ) Vaulting Ambition            (D ) None of these

Your Key/ Answer: - (C) Vaulting Ambition           Revised Key: - (D)
Correct Answer: - Noble Inaction.

NOTE: - Hence (D) option cannot be taken as correct. (The students were confused at option A. They considered it a misprint and incomplete. So they chose it)

Q.No. 81:- Where was Wordsworth born?
(A) Cokerpate             (B) Cockermouth        (C) Cockerhill            (D) Cockervalley  
Your Key/ Answer: -(D) Cockervalley  
Correct Answer:- (B) Cockermouth
Reference:- William Wordsworth was born on 7 April 1770 in Wordsworth House in Cockermouth, Cumberland.
Note: - This answer is Correct in A, B, & C Series Booklet. There is a mistake only in D Series.

Q.No. 101: - Name the ‘figure of speech’ in the following line.
‘Boys will be boys.’
(A) Epigram                (B) Personification       (C) Litotes                  (D) Metonymy

Note:-  Correct answer is Epigram. Hence (A) key is correct
